Summer Day Camps
Want an awesome place for your kid to spend the day (or just a half day)? Wildwood Day Camps are the perfect solution for the working parent(s) or the visiting family that need a place for their kids while they explore the Gorge. You can have your kids spend a day, half day, a week, or the entire summer!
Located in downtown Hood River with both swimming and hiking just a ten minute walk away, we have the perfect location for endless summer days.
Each day we'll start out at Wildwood for a morning session of games, art, reading, making jewelry, building legos, drawing, dodgeball, parkour, maybe some yoga, or just playing with friends.
After lunch, we'll head down for the afternoon session to the Columbia River for swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, exploring, and an afternoon on the water. We might even strike up a game of flag football, water polo, soccer, or capture the flag.
Every day is unique. The only constant is FUN. Whatever your child's personality or interests, we'll have something for them.
Our day camp runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm weekdays from Monday thru Thursday (we have half days available). We also have late pick-up until 5pm available. Our age range is from 6 to 12. The camps run from Monday, June 24th to Thursday, August 29th. We do have camp dogs that act as official mascots. One dog's name is Finnegan (he's a labradoodle) and another is Luna (she is a regular poodle). Both dogs are very friendly and hypo-allergenic.
Drop-ins always welcome! We do ask, if possible, for 24 hour notification.
